Product scan for food, beauty, and pet food
Clean Products is a barcode scanner for packaged goods. Point the camera at an EAN or UPC, photograph an ingredient list, or type a name. The app looks up public catalog data (Open Food Facts, Open Beauty Facts, Open Pet Food Facts) and scores the label with a deterministic 0–100 clean score.
Unlike food-only or cosmetics-only scanners, one install covers groceries, INCI beauty formulas, household cleaners, and pet food. Allergen and additive flags surface when the label lists them.
How the clean score is built
The score starts at 100 and subtracts for hazards, processing, and data gaps. Each line in the breakdown names the rule and a public source — EU CosIng annexes, additives lists, GHS classifications, and similar catalogs. The same ingredients always produce the same number, on-device and on the server.

- No. Core scanning works without sign-in. Optional sign-in syncs favorites and history.
- Is the clean score medical advice?
- No. Scores are educational estimates. Formulas change — always re-check the physical label for allergies or medical needs.
